New French Ambassador Presents Credentials to Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: A ceremony was held in Tashkent to mark the presentation of copies of credentials by the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan, Walid Fouque. The documents were formally received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov.
During the meeting, Minister Saidov highlighted that relations between Uzbekistan and France, rooted in a strong historical foundation, have experienced unprecedented development in recent years. He noted that bilateral ties have been elevated to the level of a strategic partnership, with cooperation now extending across diverse sectors, including economy, investment, science, education, and culture.
The appointment of Ambassador Walid Fouque is expected to further strengthen the dynamic partnership between the two countries and open new avenues for collaboration.
