Oana Atoi Urges Unity and Resilience for Europe at European Forum Alpbach

Alpbach, The Gulf Observer: Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Oana Atoi participated in the European Forum Alpbach 2025 (EFA 2025), where she underscored the importance of strengthening Europe’s resilience and unity in an increasingly unstable global environment.
Speaking at the inaugural panel, “Europe in the World Days,” Minister Atoi emphasized that ensuring the security of Europe must remain a priority. She highlighted the need for enhanced resilience, greater interoperability, and increased investments in defense, emerging technologies, and strategic infrastructures.
The minister stressed that Europe must be prepared, united, and capable of responding rapidly to evolving threats. She reaffirmed Romania’s role as an active partner in advancing European security, strengthening the transatlantic relationship, supporting vulnerable neighboring states, and contributing to the development of the European defense industry.
“Only a united Europe is a safe Europe,” Minister Atoi stated.
