Oman Air Wins 2026 APEX WORLD CLASS™ Award for Second Consecutive Year

Oman Air

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has been awarded the 2026 APEX WORLD CLASS™ accolade, marking the second consecutive year the airline has received this prestigious recognition. The award, accredited by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX)—the largest international association dedicated to airline passengers—is widely regarded as the highest benchmark in aviation.

Airlines are evaluated across multiple dimensions of the passenger experience, including space, comfort, personal attention, fine cuisine, and presentation. Renata Rached, Oman Air’s Vice President of Guest Experience, Loyalty & Brand, who accepted the award at the APEX Global Expo in California, said:

“We are deeply honoured to receive the 2026 APEX WORLD CLASS™ award for the second year in a row. This recognition reaffirms our mission to deliver a journey that blends the highest standards of service excellence with heartfelt Omani hospitality. It’s a tribute to every member of our team, whose dedication ensures that Oman Air continues to stand among the world’s most respected airlines.”

To qualify for the APEX WORLD CLASS™ award, airlines undergo an extensive audit across twenty key dimensions, including brand integrity, engagement, hospitality, personalisation, comfort, connectivity, and food & beverage quality. The audits are conducted by industry experts from YATES+, a leading guest experience consultancy, and are peer-reviewed and validated by APEX’s governing board.

Since winning the 2025 award, Oman Air has continued to enhance its services and customer experience initiatives. The airline recently launched a comprehensive Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback system to continuously monitor and improve every aspect of the passenger journey. Additionally, in June 2025, Oman Air received accolades at the APEX Awards for Best Food & Beverage and Best Cabin Service in the Middle East.
