Oman and Türkiye Call for Gaza De-escalation to Prevent Regional Spillover

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: In a significant diplomatic engagement, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, held a telephonic conversation with Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, on Sunday. The focus of their discussions revolved around the evolving regional and global stances concerning Israel’s aggressive actions and the unlawful blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip, with an acute awareness of the escalating risks in the broader Middle East region.

During the conversation, both ministers underscored the imperative of heightened political endeavors aimed at de-escalation, the establishment of a ceasefire, and the prompt resumption of humanitarian initiatives to alleviate the plight of the Gaza Strip’s population.
