Oman Condemns Israeli Attack on Global Sumud Flotilla, Urges Unhindered Humanitarian Access to Gaza
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has strongly condemned and denounced the Israeli attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla, which was carrying urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, describing it as a blatant violation of international and humanitarian law.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Oman stressed that the continuation of such inhumane acts by the occupation authorities reflects a systematic policy of using starvation as a weapon of war.
The statement reiterated Oman’s urgent call for the immediate and unhindered entry of humanitarian and relief aid into the Palestinian territories. It further emphasized the necessity for the international community to fulfill its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to halt these violations and ensure the protection of civilians.
