Oman Declares Accession Day as an Official National Holiday

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: In accordance with the directive from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Thursday, 11th January 2024 has been formally designated as an official holiday for employees across the State’s Administrative Apparatus, encompassing the public sector, as well as other legal entities and private sector establishments. This significant decision commemorates and honors the occasion of His Majesty the Sultan’s Accession Day. The decree extends this holiday to facilitate nationwide observance and celebration, allowing employees across various sectors to partake in acknowledging and honoring this momentous event within the Sultanate.
