Oman Declares National Day Holiday on November 20-21
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: In celebration of the Sultanate of Oman’s National Day, an official holiday has been announced for Wednesday and Thursday, November 20 and 21, 2024. The announcement, issued through the Oman News Agency (ONA), confirms that the holiday will apply to employees in all administrative units of the state apparatus, legal entities, and private sector establishments.
The directive, established by Royal Decree, allows work on these days if necessary, provided that employees receive appropriate compensation in line with current regulations. The National Day holiday underscores Oman’s tradition of honoring its heritage and achievements, giving citizens and residents an opportunity to celebrate the country’s rich history and progress.
