Muscat, The Gulf Observer: In a significant display of solidarity and humanitarian commitment, Oman has dispatched substantial quantities of food and medical aid to the Kingdom of Jordan, destined to reach the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The initiative, organized by the Oman Charitable Organization (OCO), stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes under the esteemed guidance of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
The OCO, acting in accordance with the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, collaborated with the Royal Air Force of Oman and the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Amman to execute an air bridge to the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The cargo, comprising various essential supplies including food and medical assistance, is intended for timely distribution to the brotherly Palestinian populace residing in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Oman Charitable Organization expressed, “As an embodiment of the high directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik – may God protect and preserve him – the OCO has coordinated with the Royal Air Force of Oman and the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Amman, to implement the air bridge to the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, loaded with tons of various food and medical aid, in order to deliver this aid to the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”
