The event will welcome over 70 tourism companies from several European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, and the Nordic countries.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to attract tourist groups from diverse international markets. The “Hello Europe” event aims to strengthen ties between Oman’s local tourism sector and its European counterparts. Haitham bin Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, underscored the importance of engaging with European tourism companies. He noted that the event would provide these companies with an in-depth understanding of Oman’s unique tourist attractions and heritage sites, which will be crucial in promoting Oman as a top-tier destination in European markets. Al Ghassani described the event as a significant opportunity to enhance cooperation with European markets, attract tourists, and facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge between Omani and European tourism companies.
