Oman Launches Promotional Brand Under Royal Patronage

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Oman’s new Promotional Brand was officially launched today at Al Barakah Palace. The ceremony, which marks a significant milestone in the Sultanate’s efforts to enhance its global image, was attended by key officials and leaders in the public and private sectors.

During the event, His Majesty was briefed on the extensive process behind the development of the Promotional Brand, which involved collaboration across various segments of society, as well as the public and private sectors. The project aims to create a unified identity that fosters positive perceptions of Oman both locally and internationally, with a particular focus on investment, tourism, and residential opportunities.

His Majesty emphasized that the initiative adopts a principle of integration, ensuring alignment among all government institutions and private establishments that are tasked with promoting Oman’s image. The promotional efforts will be bolstered through the use of cutting-edge digital tools and best global practices.

The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of the community’s vote results, which determined the visual slogan for the Promotional Brand. The slogan “Partnership” garnered the highest percentage of votes from Omanis and residents. His Majesty highlighted that the slogan represents a core part of the Sultanate’s strategy for fostering international cooperation. It embodies the aspirations for a modern future while drawing upon Oman’s rich cultural values of connection and collaboration.

His Majesty further noted that the choice of “Partnership” aligns with Oman’s longstanding approach to strategic relationships with the world. This approach is based on mutual trust and positions Oman as a crucial link between the East and West, emphasizing its role in facilitating global cooperation.

His Majesty also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the government and private sector in the successful campaign for the Promotional Brand, thanking all those who participated in the voting process. Special recognition was given to the Financial and Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers, which supervised the project, as well as the technical teams from the National Programme for Private Sector and Foreign Trade Development, “Nazdaher,” for their dedication in developing the brand’s strategy.

In closing, His Majesty directed government entities to adopt the outcomes of the brand within their areas of responsibility, ensuring the integration and consistency of promotional efforts across Oman’s institutions. The Sultan’s vision for the brand will guide the future of Oman’s global positioning, reinforcing its message of partnership, unity, and modernization.

The ceremony was attended by Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Financial and Economic Committee at the Council of Ministers, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Supervisor General of Nazdaher, along with other key figures in the government.
