Oman Participates in 26th Meeting of GCC Permanent Legislation Committee

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, participated in the 26th meeting of the GCC Permanent Legislation Committee, held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh.
Dr. Yahya Nasser Al Khusaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, represented Oman at the meeting.
The agenda included discussions on the work strategy of the GCC Permanent Legislation Committee and the findings of the committee of experts and specialists responsible for unified GCC legislations. Participants exchanged views on supporting GCC technical committees tasked with drafting regulations, laws, and agreements.
The meeting also reviewed proposals from the GCC Secretariat General on delegating a committee of experts and specialists to compile legislative principles in coordination with relevant departments in member states.
