Oman Set to Host ITF Asia U-14 Championships Starting January 8

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman, through the Oman Tennis Association (OTA), is set to host the International and Asian Federation U-14 Championships (ITF Asia U-14) along with regional qualifiers for West and Central Asia from January 8 to 16.
In this prestigious event, eight teams from the Asian continent, including Oman, Iraq, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, and Turkmenistan, will vie for victory across various age groups. After a hiatus in hosting international tournaments, this marks Oman’s return to the tennis scene, showcasing its capability to organize and host such competitions.
The tournament director, Eng Mohammed Ibrahim al Balushi, expressed enthusiasm about this opportunity, emphasizing the nation’s readiness to host this international event with participation from prominent West Asian teams. The tournament, spanning two stages from January 8 to 11 and January 13 to 16, will conclude with the recognition of qualifiers and top performers on the final day of each stage.
