Oman Showcases Rich Cultural Heritage at Frankfurt International Book Fair 2025

Frankfurt, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the 77th edition of the Frankfurt International Book Fair, which opened on Wednesday in the Federal Republic of Germany and will run until 19 October 2025.
Oman’s national pavilion features an extensive collection of publications from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Information, and the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, along with contributions from various government departments and civil society organisations.
The pavilion reflects the Sultanate’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence at leading international cultural and literary forums, underscoring Oman’s commitment to promoting intellectual exchange and creative dialogue.
Recognised as one of the world’s foremost exhibitions dedicated to publishing and literature, the Frankfurt International Book Fair serves as a global platform uniting authors, publishers, researchers, and thinkers across diverse fields of knowledge.
A key highlight of Oman’s participation is the Ayn platform, which presents a selection of digital and audio-visual content, showcasing the diversity and dynamism of Omani cultural life. The platform also reflects the Sultanate’s dedication to preserving and promoting its rich cultural heritage in innovative and modern ways.
The Omani pavilion displays a wide range of works covering history, literature, science, media, and tourism, as well as publications highlighting social development, wildlife, the environment, and adventure in the Sultanate of Oman.
