Omani FM Discusses Gaza Conflict and Ceasefire Efforts with U.S. Secretary of State
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Excellency Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, held a phone call with United States Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken to discuss the latest developments in the Israeli conflict in the Gaza Strip. The conversation focused on the ongoing efforts to secure a permanent ceasefire.
During the call, both ministers underscored the urgent need for a ceasefire, which would facilitate the entry of sufficient relief aid to the affected areas and ensure the release of detainees and prisoners from both sides. They emphasized the importance of humanitarian assistance and the protection of civilians amid the ongoing conflict.
