Omani-Saudi Coordination Council discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The Political and Diplomatic Coordination Committee of the Omani-Saudi Coordination Council on Tuesday held its first meeting in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The meeting was co-chaired by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, and Dr. Saud Mohammed Al Sati, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations in line with the directives of the two countries’ leaderships and their aspirations to achieve the interests of their peoples.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
This meeting was held in the context of preparation for the first meeting of the Omani-Saudi Coordination Council, headed by foreign ministers of the two countries.
The meeting was attended HH Sayyid Faisal Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and officials of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
