Pakistan and Turkiye Discuss Cooperation on Ensuring Safety of Nationals in Syria
Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Sunday with Turkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the evolving situation in Syria.
During the conversation, Senator Dar shared details of the efforts undertaken by the Government of Pakistan to ensure the safety and security of its nationals currently residing in Syria. The two foreign ministers also discussed potential areas of cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye to safeguard the well-being of Pakistani nationals in Syria amid the ongoing crisis.
A press release issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the two countries in addressing the security concerns of their citizens abroad.
