Pakistan and UAE Sign Multiple MoUs to Bolster Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday signed a series of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation in key sectors including culture, trade, and consular affairs.
The MoUs were signed during the official visit of UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who held talks with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.
An MoU was signed between the UAE Ministry of Culture and the Culture Division of Pakistan to enhance collaboration in the cultural sector, fostering deeper people-to-people ties and promoting cultural exchange between the two nations.
Another MoU was signed for the establishment of a Joint Committee for Consular Affairs, aimed at streamlining and enhancing consular services for the citizens of both countries.
In addition, both dignitaries witnessed the exchange of an MoU between the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) for the establishment of the UAE-Pakistan Joint Business Council. The MoU was exchanged by UAE Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri and FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh. The council is expected to provide a structured platform to promote trade and investment between the two countries.
Welcoming his UAE counterpart, DPM/FM Ishaq Dar highlighted the deep-rooted, fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE, which are built on shared values, mutual respect, and a long history of cooperation. He noted that both countries were actively working together to ensure the welfare and prosperity of their peoples.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to him and underscored the close and heartfelt relationship between the UAE and Pakistan. He reaffirmed the UAE leadership’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral relations across all domains.
The high-level engagement marks another milestone in the growing strategic partnership between Pakistan and the UAE, reaffirming their mutual desire to strengthen ties through increased collaboration in cultural, economic, and consular fields.
