Pakistan Armed Forces Fully Prepared to Safeguard Territorial Integrity and Sovereignty: COAS General Syed Asim Munir
Sialkot, The Gulf Observer: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), reaffirmed the Pakistan Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment and readiness to defend the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty against all threats, with the resolute support of the nation.
During his visit to a field training exercise near Narowal and Sialkot, General Munir emphasized the importance of maintaining constant preparedness to counter potential adversaries. The exercise aimed to enhance operational readiness and refine battlefield procedures in response to evolving security challenges, according to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release.
The COAS was briefed on the objectives and execution of the exercise, which involved a comprehensive demonstration of integrated fire and maneuver operations. Participating units included Armour, Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Artillery, Air Defence, Army Aviation, and Anti-Tank Guided Missile units.
The exercise also showcased advanced electronic warfare capabilities and information operations designed to disrupt enemy communications and counter disinformation strategies in modern warfare scenarios.
General Munir spent the day with the troops, commending their high training standards, operational readiness, and morale. He emphasized that the dedication and professionalism displayed by the soldiers were vital to ensuring the nation’s security.
Upon arrival, the COAS was welcomed by Commander Gujranwala Corps and the Inspector General of Training and Evaluation, further underscoring the high-level commitment to continuous improvement and readiness within the Armed Forces.
