Pakistan, Azerbaijan Discuss Trade, Investment, and Multilateral Cooperation
Islamabad, August 11, 2025 – The Europe Today: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation on Monday with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides reviewed opportunities to enhance collaboration in trade and investment. They also expressed satisfaction over their partnership in various multilateral fora.
Both ministers agreed to maintain close coordination for upcoming engagements at the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as consultations on matters related to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
