Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Louise Araneta-Marcos, First Lady of the Philippines, visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant cultural exchange between the Philippines and the UAE.

The First Lady was accompanied by Alfonso Ferdinand, Ambassador of the Philippines to the UAE, Mohamed Obaid Alqataam Alzaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Philippines, and Dr. Yousef Al Obaidli, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre.

During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the mosque’s noble mission, which emphasizes values of coexistence, tolerance, and openness to other cultures.
