PM Chính Visits Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac Museum, Highlights Cultural Diplomacy

Paris, The Gulf Observer: As part of his official visit to France, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính visited the Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac Museum on Wednesday (local time), one of Paris’s most distinguished and contemporary cultural institutions dedicated to the preservation and celebration of global civilisations.
During the visit, Prime Minister Chính spent considerable time viewing artefacts from Vietnam and exploring exhibits that reflect the historical ties between Vietnam and France. He expressed his deep impression at the museum’s rich and diverse collections, which vividly showcase the unique characteristics of various world cultures.
The Prime Minister praised the museum’s efforts in preserving a significant number of Vietnamese artefacts that highlight the country’s rich cultural heritage and its longstanding relationship with France — a relationship that has evolved through both challenges and milestones.
“Culture is an internal strength, a source of inspiration, and a driving force for generations in building, safeguarding, and developing the nation in a rapid, green, and sustainable manner,” Prime Minister Chính stated. He underscored the role of culture as a vibrant and enduring thread that strengthens the friendship between the peoples of Vietnam and France.
The Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac Museum is renowned for its dedication to indigenous arts and cultures from Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. Among its 9,500 artefacts on display, Vietnam is one of the most prominently represented Southeast Asian countries, reflecting its significant cultural footprint within the institution’s exhibitions.
The visit highlighted Vietnam’s commitment to deepening cultural diplomacy and further enriching its multifaceted relationship with France.
