Prabowo Subianto Hosts Limited Open House at Private Residence
Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: On Wednesday, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto hosted a limited open house at his private residence on Kertanegara Road in South Jakarta, welcoming government officials and supporters in a closed gathering.
The event, held exclusively for invited guests, remained off-limits to others, including residents who had gathered along the road in anticipation of Subianto’s presence. As officials and volunteers arrived in vehicles, they were granted entry into Subianto’s home one by one.
At approximately 4 p.m. Jakarta time, President-elect Subianto emerged from his residence to greet residents and volunteers who had patiently awaited his appearance since Wednesday afternoon.
“Thank you all. I ask for your forgiveness. Happy Eid to all,” Subianto conveyed to the gathered residents and volunteers before returning inside to continue the open house with government officials, including representatives from his ministry.
Among the officials in attendance at Subianto’s open house were Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Secretary General of the Defense Ministry Donny Ermawan Taufanto, and Rector of the Indonesian Defense University Lieutenant General Jonni Mahroza.
The limited open house provided an opportunity for President-elect Prabowo Subianto to engage with supporters and officials in a warm and festive atmosphere, marking the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and fostering community spirit amidst the transition to his upcoming presidency.
