Preparations Underway for Second Uzbek-Belarusian Women’s Business Forum
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The organizational committee for the second Uzbek-Belarusian Women’s Business Forum convened in Tashkent, chaired by Tanzila Narbaeva, Head of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis. According to the Senate’s press service, the meeting centered on preparations for the upcoming forum, scheduled for 26-27 August 2024.
During the meeting, participants deliberated on high-level event organization, the signing of new cooperation agreements, media coverage, and the achievement of set goals. The primary objective of the forum is to strengthen business and economic ties between women entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Belarus.
The forum aims to explore new cooperation opportunities, expand existing business contacts, exchange experiences, support the sustainable development of both economies, and actively involve women in increasing mutual trade turnover.
The event will feature sessions across seven sectors: services, electrical engineering, chemical industry, light industry, agriculture and food industry, machine engineering and power engineering, and green energy. Additionally, it will include B2B and G2B meetings between women entrepreneurs and representatives of government agencies from both countries, with expectations of resulting in commercial contracts, deals, and cooperation memorandums.
The second Uzbek-Belarusian Women’s Business Forum promises to be a significant event for fostering bilateral economic cooperation and empowering women entrepreneurs in both nations.
