President Aliyev Approves Major Repair of Key Highway Linking Tovuz and Gadabay Districts
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order approving measures for the major repair of the Chatakh–Cheshmali–Mollalar–Mashadivalilar–Hasanli–Abbasgulular–Papagchilar–Guvandik–Lazilar–Novosaratovka highway, which links the village of Chatakh in the Tovuz district with the village of Novosaratovka in the Gadabay district.
Under the Order, an initial allocation of 1.5 million manats will be provided to the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads for the overhaul of the road. The highway serves as a vital transport route, connecting 13 residential areas with a combined population of 21,000 residents.
The project aims to improve regional connectivity, enhance transportation safety, and support socio-economic development in the surrounding areas.
