President Aliyev Awards State Customs Committee Employees for Distinguished Service

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree awarding a number of employees of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan in recognition of their effective service.

According to the decree, two employees were awarded the 3rd degree “For Service to the Fatherland” Order, while two others received the “Progress” medal. In addition, six employees were conferred the medal “For Distinction in the Civil Service” for their contributions to the work of the customs authorities.

Under a separate presidential order, one employee of the State Customs Committee was promoted to the higher special rank of “Colonel General of Customs Service,” while three employees were awarded the higher special ranks of “Major General of Customs Service.”

The awards and promotions reflect the state’s recognition of professionalism and dedication within Azerbaijan’s customs service.
