President Aliyev, President Macron Discuss Regional Peace and Future Relations

Copenhagen, The Gulf Observer: On October 2, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron in Copenhagen.
President Macron congratulated the Azerbaijani head of state on the progress achieved in the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and welcomed the advancements made in promoting the peace agenda.
In response, President Aliyev expressed gratitude for the congratulations and underscored the historic significance of the results achieved in Washington, witnessed by the President of the United States, as a milestone in advancing regional peace. He noted that joint efforts are ongoing across various areas to further strengthen the peace process.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the current state of Azerbaijan–France relations and discussed prospects for their future development.
