President Erdogan Congratulates Algerian President Tebboune on Re-election Success

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on his recent success in the presidential elections during a phone call on Sunday. President Erdogan acknowledged the overwhelming support Tebboune received, stating that the election results reflect the strong endorsement by the Algerian people for the policies implemented over the past five years.

President Erdogan expressed confidence that Algeria’s stability and prosperity would continue to grow in Tebboune’s new term. He also emphasized his belief that relations between Türkiye and Algeria would further strengthen in all areas, highlighting the deep fraternal ties between the two nations.

Algeria’s incumbent President Tebboune secured his second five-year term in the early elections held on Saturday, with the Algerian electoral authority announcing his victory with 94.65% of the votes during a press conference on Sunday.

In addition, President Erdogan extended an invitation for Tebboune to visit Türkiye, commending Algeria’s role as a temporary member of the UN Security Council, particularly its support for the Palestinian cause. He reaffirmed Türkiye’s support for these efforts and reiterated both countries’ commitment to intensifying efforts to end Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people.
