President Erdogan Marks 41st Anniversary of the TRNC with Strong Support

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on the 41st anniversary of its founding, reaffirming Türkiye’s unwavering solidarity with the TRNC and its people.

In a statement commemorating the milestone, Erdogan described the TRNC as “our friend and brother,” praising its pivotal role in fostering peace, justice, and stability in the Mediterranean.

“I extend my congratulations on the 41st anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the guarantor of peace, justice, and tranquility in the Mediterranean,” Erdogan said. He also paid tribute to those who sacrificed for the independence and stability of the TRNC, honoring the memory of fallen heroes and expressing gratitude to veterans.

Erdogan emphasized Türkiye’s steadfast support for the TRNC’s pursuit of international recognition and its efforts to achieve equality and fairness on the island of Cyprus. “We remember our heroic martyrs with mercy and our veterans with respect,” he added, sending warm regards to the Turkish Cypriot community.
