President Erdoğan Pays Tribute to Victims on 33rd Anniversary of Khojaly Genocide

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Marking the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan conveyed his condolences and solidarity with Azerbaijan in a message shared on X.
“On the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly Massacre, a tragedy we will never forget, I remember with deep sorrow our Azerbaijani brothers who lost their lives. We will never forget the pain of the Khojaly tragedy,” Erdoğan stated.
The Turkish president also reaffirmed Türkiye’s unwavering support for Azerbaijan, emphasizing the enduring brotherhood between the two nations. “We stand united in both good times and bad,” he added.
The Khojaly genocide, which took place on February 26, 1992, remains a deeply painful chapter in Azerbaijan’s history, with ongoing international calls for justice and remembrance.
