President Erdogan Receives Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem

Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday received Theophilos Giannopoulos, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, along with his accompanying delegation, at the Presidential Dolmabahce Office.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, and Chief Advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic.

At the conclusion of the talks, President Erdogan and Patriarch Giannopoulos exchanged gifts.

Officials did not provide further details regarding the content of the meeting.
