President Erdogan Receives Official Welcome from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik in Oman
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was accorded an official welcome by Sultan Haitham bin Tarik in the Omani capital, Muscat, on Wednesday.
Following a formal exchange of greetings between the Turkish and Omani delegations, the two leaders proceeded to hold talks aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and discussing regional developments of mutual interest.
The official welcoming ceremony was attended by senior Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, National Intelligence Organization head Ibrahim Kalin, and Communications Director Burhanettin Duran.
Oman marks the third and final destination of President Erdogan’s three-day tour of Gulf states, which also included visits to Kuwait and Qatar.
