President Ilham Aliyev Allocates 2 Million Manats for Repair of Yardimli–Deman–Arvana Highway

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order allocating 2 million manats from the 2025 state budget for the repair and restoration of the Yardimli–Deman–Arvana highway in the Yardimli district.
According to the order, the funds will be drawn from capital investment allocations approved by Presidential Decree No. 445 dated January 10, 2025. The allocation will be used to restore damaged sections of the highway connecting the settlements of Yardimli, Deman, and Arvana, which collectively serve a population of around 2,000 residents. The project also includes the construction of retaining walls to ensure road stability and safety.
Under the presidential directive, the Ministry of Finance has been instructed to ensure the timely release of funds, while the Ministry of Economy has been tasked with including provisions for the continuation of repair works in the 2026 state budget draft.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan will supervise the execution of the order to ensure the efficient and transparent implementation of the infrastructure project.
The initiative reflects President Aliyev’s ongoing commitment to improving regional infrastructure, enhancing transport connectivity, and supporting socioeconomic development in Azerbaijan’s districts.
