President Ilham Aliyev Attends 80th Anniversary Victory Parade in Beijing

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: A military parade marking the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people’s resistance against Japanese aggression and the victory in World War II was held on September 3 in Beijing, the capital of China.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony at Tiananmen Square.

Upon their arrival, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan warmly welcomed President Aliyev and First Lady Aliyeva.

The commemoration was dedicated to honoring the historical victory and underscored China’s role in safeguarding peace and regional stability.
