President Ilham Aliyev Congratulates Kazakhstan on Republic Day
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the Republic Day of Kazakhstan.
In his congratulatory message, President Aliyev commended Kazakhstan’s remarkable achievements under President Tokayev’s leadership, emphasizing the country’s consistent economic growth, rising living standards, and enhanced international standing.
“The brilliant successes achieved by Kazakhstan in every field, its economic development, the improvement of the well-being of its population, and its high prestige in the international arena are the results of the significant reforms implemented under your leadership and your tireless efforts,” President Aliyev stated.
He underscored that the shared historical and cultural roots of the Azerbaijani and Kazakh peoples form the foundation of their close and brotherly relations. “Relations between our brotherly countries are developing in the spirit of mutual trust and high respect,” the Azerbaijani leader noted, highlighting the significance of the Treaty on Strategic Partnership and Allied Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, which marks its 20th anniversary this year.
President Aliyev also pointed to the growing intensity of high-level political contacts and the active dialogue between the two nations, creating favorable conditions for expanding cooperation across multiple sectors — including trade, energy (especially green energy), transport, investment, information technology, culture, and humanitarian affairs.
He further remarked that his recent state visit to Kazakhstan reaffirmed the shared commitment of both sides to deepening bilateral ties and advancing mutual interests.
“I am confident that we will continue our joint efforts successfully in the future to strengthen the brotherhood, reliable strategic partnership, and alliance between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as to comprehensively expand our cooperation,” President Aliyev added.
Concluding his message, President Aliyev conveyed his best wishes to President Tokayev for continued health and success, and expressed hopes for lasting peace, prosperity, and abundance for the brotherly people of Kazakhstan.
