President Ilham Aliyev Highlights Azerbaijan’s Role as Platform for Cooperation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President Ilham Aliyev on Monday underscored Azerbaijan’s expanding international engagement and its commitment to cooperation, during a meeting with a delegation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Addressing the delegation, the head of state noted that the geography of Azerbaijan’s international relations continues to broaden, with strategic partnership documents, agreements, and declarations signed with numerous countries. He pointed out that some of these states maintain strained relations with one another, highlighting Azerbaijan’s balanced and inclusive foreign policy approach.

“I have always said that Azerbaijan will never be an area of confrontation; it will be an area of cooperation,” President Aliyev emphasized.

He reiterated that Azerbaijan’s diplomatic and economic policies are guided by principles of mutual respect, dialogue, and constructive engagement, positioning the country as a reliable partner and a bridge for cooperation in a complex international environment.
