President Ilham Aliyev Receives Turkish Foreign Minister in Shusha
Shusha, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, welcomed the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, in Shusha, according to media reports.
In their discussions, both leaders reminisced about the recent trilateral meeting held in Astana, which underscored the friendship and brotherhood among President Ilham Aliyev, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. They expressed confidence that such trilateral formats would become a regular occurrence.
Reflecting on an agreement with President Erdogan, it was noted that Türkiye will be represented by its Vice President at the upcoming summit in Shusha. This arrangement is due to President Erdogan’s visit to Germany to watch the Türkiye-Netherlands match.
The leaders highlighted the significance of the Shusha Declaration, signed in Shusha in 2021, which lays the foundation for the allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Both parties praised the successful development of brotherhood, friendship, and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye across all areas. They also emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity within the Turkic world.
The conversation also included discussions on Azerbaijan-Armenia and Türkiye-Armenia relations, underscoring the broader regional dynamics and cooperation.
