President Ilham Aliyev Receives Turkish Parliamentary Defense Chairman Hulusi Akar

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Hulusi Akar, a member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Chairman of the Parliament’s National Defense Commission, and former Minister of National Defense, on February 21.

During the meeting, both sides highlighted the successful development of the fraternal ties, friendship, and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye across all sectors. They also commended the deepening of interparliamentary cooperation, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration in defense and security.

As a gesture of goodwill, Hulusi Akar presented a keepsake to President Ilham Aliyev.
