Astana, The Gulf Observer: The Azerbaijani embassy in Kazakhstan has confirmed that President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan will visit Kazakhstan to participate in the 6th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia. The meeting is scheduled to take place on August 9 in Astana, according to NHC.

This high-profile gathering will bring together leaders from across Central Asia to discuss regional cooperation and development. The Azerbaijani President’s visit underscores the importance of Azerbaijan’s role and interest in the affairs of Central Asia.

In related news, it was earlier reported that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan will make a state visit to Kazakhstan on August 7-8, ahead of the consultative meeting.

The upcoming event in Astana follows the 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, which was held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. The series of consultative meetings aim to foster collaboration and address shared challenges within the region.
