President Ilham Aliyev Visits Key Development Sites in Karabakh Region

Khankendi, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev conducted a series of significant visits and inaugurations in the Karabakh region, according to media reports citing the president’s press service.

During his visit, President Aliyev inspected the newly completed works at Khojaly Airport. Following this, he examined the ongoing developments at Karabakh University, showcasing the state’s commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure in the region.

In the city of Khankendi, the head of state attended the grand reopening of the “Qarabag” hotel, which has undergone major overhaul and restoration. He also participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Khankendi Congress Center, marking a new phase in the city’s development.

Additionally, President Aliyev inaugurated the “Palace” hotel in Khankendi after its comprehensive restoration. The president’s engagements continued in Shusha, where he attended the opening of the Isa Bulagi recreational complex and the inauguration of the Shusha water treatment plant complex.

These events underscore Azerbaijan’s dedication to revitalizing and developing the Karabakh region, highlighting significant investments in infrastructure, hospitality, and public utilities.
