President Lukashenko to Attend CIS Heads of State Council Meeting in Moscow
Minsk, The Gulf Observer: Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is scheduled to embark on a working visit to the Russian Federation, according to the press service of the Belarusian leader. The visit will include participation in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of State Council meeting, which is set to take place in Moscow on 8 October.
The upcoming summit will bring together leaders from CIS member states to address a broad range of critical topics, including security, advancements in high technology, and avenues for enhanced cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian sectors. The meeting is expected to foster closer regional collaboration and address shared challenges among the member countries.
In addition to the official proceedings, President Lukashenko is also slated to partake in a series of informal events alongside fellow CIS leaders, further strengthening diplomatic and personal ties within the group.
