President Mirziyoyev Attends Informal Events of SCO Summit in Tianjin

Tianjin, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with his spouse, took part in the informal events of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center.

The gathering brought together heads of state and government from across the SCO and partner nations, including President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh.

The event was also attended by the heads of government of Egypt, Cambodia, Nepal, and Armenia, as well as Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres.

Upon arrival, President Mirziyoyev and his spouse were warmly received by President Xi Jinping of China and his spouse. Following the welcome ceremony, the distinguished guests enjoyed a vibrant cultural concert program dedicated to the Tianjin SCO Summit.
