President Mirziyoyev to Participate in SCO Summit
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will embark on a working visit to Astana on 3-4 July. His visit is in conjunction with his participation in the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the “SCO Plus” format meeting.
The summit agenda is set to address crucial matters pertaining to the ongoing enhancement of comprehensive cooperation within the SCO and the refinement of the organization’s operational strategies. Discussions will encompass pertinent issues of international and regional cooperation.
Anticipated outcomes of the summit include the adoption of the Astana Declaration and a series of agreements aimed at expanding partnerships across a spectrum of sectors, encompassing economy, security, ecology, energy, tourism, and various other domains.
During his tenure in Astana, President Mirziyoyev will also engage in a sequence of bilateral meetings with heads of delegations from other participating nations.
This summit is poised to reinforce collaborative efforts within the SCO framework, underlining the commitment of member states to fostering regional stability and prosperity.
