Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President Serdar Berdimuhamedov presided over a ceremonial event on Wednesday to inaugurate the new Bagtyýarlyk water treatment facility. The state-of-the-art plant has a daily capacity of 150,000 cubic meters of water, marking a significant milestone in the country’s infrastructure development.

According to official media reports, the construction of the Bagtyýarlyk facility was executed under the direct decree of President Berdimuhamedov. The facility sources its water from an open reservoir on the right bank of the Garagum River, which boasts a storage capacity of one million cubic meters.

Rigorous testing of water samples from the facility has confirmed that the water quality meets Turkish standards, international standards, and the stringent guidelines set by the World Health Organization.
