President of Turkmenistan meets with Head of Tatarstan

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Ashgabat on Wednesday, the official Turkmen media reported.

During the meeting, the Turkmen President expressed satisfaction that Turkmen-Tatar cooperation is now actively developing, building a solid foundation and expanding into new areas.

The sides emphasized the importance of expanding export-import operations and broadening the types of goods and services sent.

President Berdimuhamedov stated that it is important to strengthen work on establishing and developing ties between business groups, creating joint ventures, attracting them to exhibitions, forums and fairs.

Turkmen President thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his contribution to the development of historically friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan, wishing the Head of Tatarstan good health, success in his endeavors, prosperity, and well-being to the brotherly people of Tatarstan.
