President of Turkmenistan to Attend Opening of World Expo 2025 in Japan

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov is set to visit Japan from April 13 to 15 to participate in the official opening ceremony of the World Expo 2025 in Osaka.

According to a statement released Thursday by the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the President’s agenda will include high-level meetings with the Emperor of Japan and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

The visit is seen as an important milestone in further strengthening the longstanding friendship and strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Japan. It is expected to open new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation in diverse sectors, including trade, investment, energy, and technology.

World Expo 2025, themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” will run in Osaka from April 13 to October 13, bringing together nations and innovators from around the globe to address key global challenges and explore forward-looking solutions.
