President of Uzbekistan, King of Malaysia discuss bilateral cooperation
Dubai, The Gulf Observer: On the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference in Dubai, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev Friday met with the King of Malaysia Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
Issues of further developing relations between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, primarily in the economic sphere, were considered.
The intensification of bilateral contacts was noted with satisfaction.
The trade turnover is growing, and cooperation projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, as well as programs in pilgrimage tourism.
An agreement was reached to hold a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a joint business forum next year to fill the partnership agenda with specific practical content.
