President of Uzbekistan receives electric car TOGG sent by Turkish President

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Today, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the delegation headed by the Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkiye, Mustafa Varank. The purpose of the delegation’s visit to Uzbekistan at the request of the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was to demonstrate and hand over the first national electric car produced under the Togg brand.

The agenda of the meeting included the issues of expanding practical cooperation, supporting and promoting collaboration projects, introducing innovations and advanced technologies, and other aspects of strengthening Uzbekistan-Turkiye large-scale strategic partnership relations.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude and congratulated the President and the people of Turkiye on the great success achieved in the engineering sector – the production of electric cars.

Uzbek President got behind the wheel of the EV and tried it together with the Turkish delegation officials.
