President of Uzbekistan receives World Ethnosport Confederation delegation

The Gulf Observer: Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the World Ethnosport Confederation led by the President of this organization, Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan.

Views on further development and popularization of national sports and folk games were exchanged.

Mr. Bilal Erdogan conveyed to the Leader of Uzbekistan the greetings and best wishes of the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Sincere gratitude was also expressed for the support and organization at the highest level of the International Ethnosport Festival, held for the first time in the city of Khiva with the participation of about 2 thousand athletes from more than 60 countries.

During the conversation, issues of deepening interaction in developing educational programs, exchange of experience, training specialists, coaches, and referees, and broad involvement of youth in ethnosports based on an action plan were discussed.
