President Pezeshkian Emphasises People’s Livelihood as Top Daily Priority

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed that the livelihood of the Iranian people remains his foremost daily concern, reaffirming the government’s commitment to economic reforms aimed at protecting public welfare.
In a post on his official X account, President Pezeshkian said that safeguarding people’s living standards is central to his administration’s agenda. He noted that fundamental measures are being pursued to reform the country’s monetary and banking system and to preserve the purchasing power of citizens.
“The livelihood of the people is my daily concern. We have fundamental measures on the agenda to reform the monetary and banking system and preserve the purchasing power of the people,” the president wrote.
He also addressed recent public protests, stating that he had instructed the Minister of Interior to engage in dialogue with representatives of the protesters in order to listen to their legitimate demands.
“I instructed the Minister of Interior to hear the protesters’ legitimate demands through dialogue with their representatives so that the government can act responsibly and with all its might to resolve the problems,” President Pezeshkian added.
The remarks underscore the administration’s emphasis on economic stability, public engagement and responsive governance amid ongoing economic challenges.
