President Pezeshkian Hails Shams and Mowlana as Enduring Symbols of Iranian Culture

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: President Massoud Pezeshkian has praised Shams al-Din Mohammad Tabrizi and Mowlana Jalal al-Din Mohammad Balkhi (Rumi) as two towering figures of Iranian culture whose legacies will continue to illuminate the course of history.
In a message delivered on Tuesday to mark the opening of the 11th International Conference of Shams and Mowlana in Khoy, West Azarbaijan Province, the president underscored the timeless relevance of their teachings, describing them as a foundation for a new discourse built on love, justice, spirituality, and wisdom.
Pezeshkian noted that the profound messages of Shams and Mowlana transcend national and cultural boundaries, resonating globally and bringing together people from diverse backgrounds through shared appreciation of their poetry and philosophy.
He reminded participants that the two-day conference is devoted to exploring the enduring contributions of the two mystics, whose thoughts continue to inspire generations.
